I was recently sent this wonderful new product from a company called Unbeelievable Health and was really eager to use it in some new recipes for the blog, as it’s so easy to include in your everyday routine for that little extra boost! This is a product that the brand have recently introduced and is very appropriately named ‘Bee energised’; which is an energy boosting supplement containing lots of amazing natural ingredients. These past few weeks, despite the lighter and slightly warmer days, I’ve found myself feeling incredibly tired and just a bit sluggish, so a little pick-me-up is definitely something that I could do with right now!
These nutrient dense little capsules consist of a mixture of ingredients such as: bee pollen, matcha, spirulina, ginseng and also some B Vitamins too. They’re really convenient to incorporate into your diet as you can add them to smoothies, chia puddings, overnight oats, yoghurt or simply take the capsule by itself. This sweet green chia pudding bowl is just one of many ways that you could add them into your morning routine.. and a very delicious one too I might add!
The recipe originally started off as a green smoothie, which is still rather tasty on it’s own, but I was curious as to how it would taste with chia seeds .. and I think the answer to that is: very good indeed! (If I do say so myself) I don’t even need to begin to explain my love for chia puddings and this one is extra special because the smoothie makes it oh so creamy and delicious! Don’t be put off by the colour either, it really doesn’t taste as green as it looks! Adding things like spinach and kale into smoothies is a good way to sneak in some extra greens into your morning and I honestly don’t even taste them in there anymore! I’ve recently been trying to focus on getting as many nutrient dense foods into my diet as possible rather than just counting calories and what better way to start than greens for breakfast?
