Chocolate & pomegranate protein banana breads



  1. Preheat your oven to 180c and prep three mini loaf cases- I used cardboard ones.
  2. Add the banana, coconut sugar, almond butter, honey and eggs in a food processor until well combined.
  3. Pour in the flour, protein, bicarb, baking powder, cacao and add a pinch of salt and blend the mixture again so that you’re left with a smooth consistency. Stir through the pomegranate seeds.
  4. Divide the mix between your loaf cases and bake them in the oven for around 20 minutes or until completely cooked through.
  5. Allow them to cool completely and remove from the cases.
  6. To make the frosting, simply mix together the cacao powder, almond butter, vanilla extract and sweetener. Add a dash of almond milk to help everything mix if needed.
  7. Spread a generous amount of the frosting over each of the loaves and decorate with fresh fruit.
